How to Stop Your Obsessive Food Thoughts

The answer for how to stop your obsessive food thoughts? Eat like you pump your gas!! (No, but really. Watch the video above to find out why!)

Eating regular, full, satisfying meals is super important in creating feelings of safety and security in our relationship with food.

Establishing a routine of eating consistent, nourishing meals with all the food groups (fats, proteins, fats, fiber) has lots of physical and mental health benefits.

Eating full meals helps our bodies to maintain stable energy level throughout the day, helps us to let go of our fear of food scarcity, and decreases (and eventually eliminates!) our food obsessions throughout the day.

This is because your body starts to trust that when it’s hungry, you will give it a full, nourishing meal rather than trying to starve it (aka go on a restrictive diet).

If you’d like more individualized, 1:1 support for overcoming your specific food and body challenges, I’m now accepting new clients!
